Wine O'clock

10 things you should know about wine country:

1) Napa is by far more expensive than Sonoma, only because it's name is more prominent and prestigious (and easier to spell.)

2) Miner is the frat winery.

3) Wine country makes it easy to feel like you're a character from Grapes of Wrath (or maybe that's just me)

4) Stars hollow must have been modeled after Sonoma's town square

5) Wine barrels are expensive. Like $1000 a pop.

6) It's where the happy cows (and sheep) live.

7) There are no grapes in February, just rows and rows of vines.

8) There are over 600 wineries in the valleys. Plenty of wine (and "sparkling wine") to go around!

9) Champagne can't be called champagne unless its from champagne. Hence "sparkling wine."

10) If you haven't gathered, wine is made there. And you must be 21 to participate in the tour.
